About Raja Marhaba
Raja Marhaba, former President & CEO of Martec Construction, Inc. a general construction company with over 35 years of corporate experience and 30 years concentered in the construction industry. She has a comprehensive understanding of the construction industry and business in general. Martec Construction, Inc. specialized in tenant improvement on commercial projects for the Federal Government, Public Works Agencies, and the Private Sector.
These days she spends her time doing what she loves as a Realtor, Lic. No. 01073996 and a special education advocate. Ms. Marhaba won a Scholarship to The Anderson School of Business at UCLA – Business Development Entrepreneur Program, 2004. Ms. Marhaba holds a certificate in Paralegal Studies with a Concentration in Litigation and Corporations from the University of California, Los Angeles, an American Bar Association Certificate Program (2009). 2016 received Enterprising Women of the Year Award, and her Construction Company made the 2017 Inc. 5000 list. Ms. Marhaba continues to improve on her operational and managerial skills by joining various forums and elite organizations such as Birthing of Giants, Young Entrepreneurs Organization (now EO) and Highrise Network. During her entire career she continued to excel in education, and getting involved in various entrepreneurship organizations placing herself with individuals more successful and smarter than herself.
She has won several awards but the ones below are some of the highlights:
- 2021 Raja Marhaba was included in, The San Fernando Valley Business Journal sixth annual Valley 200, a special standalone book featuring short profiles of the most influential leaders in the Valley area. Given her stature, and involvement in the valley from Martec Construction to The Jonathan Foundation, and her involvement with Val*Pac (San Fernando Valley Business Political Action Committee) she was honored amongst the elite in her community.
- 2019 L’Oreal Paris Women of Worth Honoree (National Recognition)
- 2020 The Daily Points of Light Award, Recognized by President George H. W. Bush, Founder of Points of Light (National Recognition)
- 2021 Diane Lipton Award for Outstanding Advocate (National Recognition)
- Created The Jonathan Foundation for Children With Learning Disabilities Nonprofit
- Published a number one seller book with Amazon “Unstoppable” A Parent’s Survival Guide for Special Education Services with an IEP or a 504 Plan
